Puppy Information
PUPPY PRICES:
Our PET PUPS are sold on our Spay/Neuter Contracts (MUST be fixed no later than 8 Months of Age & it is required for you to email me a copy of the Vet certificate/bill by 9 Months of Age). Pet pups are usually priced between $1500- to $2500- Cdn. We do offer a REPEAT Pet Family Discount of $200- off of your purchase price for any of our Pet Families that wish to add ANOTHER Ghost Eye Aussie Pup to their family. Our way of showing our deep appreciation for you providing a loving home for our Aussies. All of our pups come with a 2yr genetic health guarantee~ pup replacement~ Must provide vet documentation which will be forwarded onto our vet for consultation. Lifetime Breeder Support for all of our Puppies.
BREED PROSPECTS will usually be priced at $3000- Cdn BUT also come with a list of stipulations. NOT all of our pups will be offered as breed prospects as they must pass my initial screening at 7-8 weeks of age.
I require ALL pups, that are sold as Breed Prospects, to have their Full Essential Aussie DNA Panels & M Locus done. Also will require OFA's or equivalents to be done at 2yrs of age for Hips/Elbows/ Patellas & Eyes AND said pup is Not to be bred before OFA results are received. (OFA Prelims AFTER 1 yr of age is accepted AS LONG AS the box has been checked on the OFA forms to allow Good & Bad Results to be published on the OFA website.)
NONE of our dogs are to be utilized in crossbred programs~ ie. Aussiedoodles, Cowboy Corgi's, etc. They are to ONLY to be used in ASDR, CKC /AKC, FCI or equivelent programs producing registered Australian Shepherds, Miniature American Shepherds or Miniature Australian Shepherds.
I will also be instating the option of retaining pick pup from their first litter (must be able to be registered as ASDR or AKC/CKC MAS)...which means I get first pick from their first litter for my program (no funds will exchange hands, BUT I will be responsible for any shipping costs for said puppy). Breed pups will initially be registered as Co-ownership between Me & the puppy purchaser. Once the OFA Results & the Pick Pup has been delivered, the pup's paperwork will be transferred over completely into the purchaser's name & mine will be removed from the paperwork.
IF puppy should NOT mature to be breed quality, fail OFA's or is NOT able to reproduce, purchaser MUST contact Breeder~ Me & send info/photos, etc. for evaluation. We do NOT guarantee that pups will mature in size~ I'll give my Best Guess-estimate to mature size, but as we do utilize a lot of Australian Bloodlines in our program, genetics can & will have the final say on mature size. IF agreed upon by both parties that said pup is NOT breed quality or Fails OFA's or cannot reproduce, then said puppy is to be spayed/neutered. Once breeder receives a copy of the spay/neuter certificate or a copy of the vet bill, then purchaser will have the option of choosing a replacement pup from either a current or future litter of their choice at no additional cost. Shipping fees WILL be the responsibility of the purchaser.
IF said Breed Prospect has produced ONE litter for purchaser, then it is considered to be able to reproduce~ any breeding issues that should occur AFTER the 1st litter has been born, will NOT be guaranteed by Breeder.
IF Breed Prospect has their OFA's done AFTER producing 1st litter & NOT BEFORE, said dog will NOT be guaranteed by Breeder~ MUST have testing done BEFORE being bred!!!
A passing grade for OFA's is Hips: Fair/Good or Excellent, Elbows & Patellas- Normal.
I am virtually guaranteeing your Breed Prospect thru the Yin Yang.... I WANT to be proud of what I am sending out into your program & I am WANTING you to succeed with our prospects~BUT we do NOT guarantee a Breed Prospect for its Lifetime.... We try to be fair for BOTH the Buyer & the Seller...
USA CUSTOMERS: DUE to the USA's NEW import Rules, as of August 1/2o24, NO dogs may enter the USA under the age of 6 months of age, we will be adding $1000- Cdn to the stated purchase prices on our Pet & Breed Prospects if they are to be spoken for to travel down into the USA in order to cover their additional 2 Vet Visits ( @ 12 & 16 weeks of age) as well as additional care & attention needing for the extra 4 months before they will be of age to enter the USA. Travel costs to get the said pup into the USA will be above this. Sorry for the inconvenience, but the CDC has chosen to add this new age rule so our hands are tied.... This additional $1000- Cdn fee will be due at 8 weeks of age along with the pups remaining purchase price. Thank You~
EUROPEAN CUSTOMERS: Due to having to keep any pups being imported into countries that need to wait until 21 days AFTER the pup has had it's Rabies shot @ 12 weeks of age, we will be charging a $500- Cdn fee on top of the pup's purchase price to help cover additional Vet costs & care of the puppy. There will ALSO be a CFIA Vet fee of $265- Cdn which will be added onto your bill in order for our Vet to fill out the necessary paperwork required by the CFIA vet in order for you to clear customs in your country. So please be aware that you will be charged an additional $765- Cdn on top of the puppies purchase price. Thank you.
DEPOSITS
I require a $250- Cdn Deposit to hold your pick pup, otherwise consider him/her as still being for sale. Your deposit is non-refundable/non-transferable, but will be subtracted from your pup's total price. I accept e-transfers, Paypal or checks for deposits. Pups must be paid in full by 8 weeks of age & at least 2 days before shipping if pup is to be shipped. Final payment of the pup can either be made via Paypal/e-transfer before picking up your puppy or with cash when you pick him/her up. Puppy contracts are drawn up & sent after the puppies have visited our Vet during their 7th week for their Puppy Wellness exam & first round of shots. IF anything should come up at the vet appointment, you WILL be notified BEFORE the puppy contract is sent out.
WHAT DO OUR PUPPIES COME WITH???
All of our pups come with tail docked as per breed standard, dewormed multiple times, treatment of Revolution @ 7 weeks~ good against fleas/ticks for 30 days, microchipped, have been seen by a certified vet during their 7th week for a wellness visit & their 1st round of shots, individual registration for ASDR, collar, leash, toy(s), pork chews, poo bags, blanket, cloth bag, sample of their food, Purina food coupons, puppy training book, vet folder along with our take home puppy booklet which includes your pup's weekly photos, pedigree, 3 pkgs of probiotics, parvo flyer, copies of parents DNA & OFA health results, Aussie grooming tips, potty, socialization, foods to avoid, kong stuffing suggestions, preventing separation anxiety tips, how to body score along with a host of other puppy & Aussie specific info. All pups will have gone for a vehicle ride as our vet is located approx. 1 hr away from us, all are used to sleeping in an open ended plastic puppy crate to help facilitate crate training in their new homes, all are started on paper potty training @ 3 weeks of age & are used to using a dog door to go outside at 5 weeks & usually by 7 weeks of age are doing up to 90% of their business outside. All of our puppies are handled & loved on multiple times a day & have been exposed to other dogs besides their mothers, both smaller & larger. Our parents are DNA health tested for Paw Print Genetic's Full Essential Aussie Panel, M & S Locus and CDDY w/IVDD. Our males receive their OFA Prelims shortly after their 1st Birthday & ALL of our dogs get their OFA finals done after their 2nd Birthday for Hips/Elbows & Patellas. All of our pups are guaranteed for genetic problems up to 2 yrs of age with a pup replacement clause~ must be supported by vet documentation which will be forwarded to our vet for consultation. Lifetime Breeder Support for ALL of our Puppies.....
PUPPY UPDATES :
I HIGHLY suggest following our Facebook page : Packet Ranch -Ghost Eye Aussies & Mini Americans , to receive daily/weekly updates on ALL of our litters as I try to update their puppy albums once a week & will post multiple videos /pictures of our litters weekly. I also LOVE to hear from our respective puppy families as to how they are making out with their Ghost Eye Aussie....and I will post a couple of times a month a SPAM ME post where everyone can post photos/videos of what their Aussie has been up to. A great way to see what your pup's siblings are doing & how they are maturing. To see these posts, just go to our FB page & click on the search feature & type in "Spam Me" as some of those postings should pop up. I do request that they write the parents names on their comments so that everyone try to find the siblings of their own pups.

In Canada: INFO CHANGED Oct. 6th /2023
DIRECT Flights: We ship Canada wide via WestJet Cargo @ 8 weeks of age. Cost is $550- Cdn for a Direct flight (puppy crate/ flight/health certificate & travel to airport all in). Direct flights are available from Regina to Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Vancouver & Toronto. We are now able to utilize flights with Air Canada within Canada as well.
Flights with ONE Flight Transfer as long as the transfer is between 3-6 hrs: Cost is $550- Cdn as long as Westjet does NOT need to clean your puppy's crate between flights or send the pup to their Pet Lounge. IF the crate needs cleaning between flights OR if the pup needs to use the Pet Lounge due to flight malfunctions~delayed/missed/cancelled, etc~ WestJet will charge us an additional $350- fee which YOU will be responsible for paying us back. I will forward a copy of the additional fee bill to you. I do my utmost to try to make sure that that does not happen, but nature works in mysterious ways at times.
Flights Requiring the use of the Pet Lounge: If the time between flights is over 6hrs or if we need 2 connecting flights, we will have to use WestJet's Pet Lounge overnight & you will be looking at an additional $350- Cdn fee that will have to be added to the flight fee for a total of $900-. When using the Pet Lounge, they will collect the pup from the airport (Calgary or Toronto) & the pup will be removed from their puppy crate & placed in a secure exercise pen where they will be offered food/water & will have a place to go potty. IF their puppy crate needs cleaning before their next leg of their journey, then they will do that as well. They will return the pup to the airport in order to catch it's next flight. If the pup visits the Calgary Pet Lounge, they have been very good about sending me an update~ either a photo or a video in the morning before they take the pup back to the airport for it's connecting flight. I have NOT received any updates when I have had pups stay at the Toronto Pet Lounge.
TWO pups can travel in the SAME puppy crate.... so if I have 2 puppies that are to fly into the same airport, you will be given the option of having your puppy fly with another pup. When we do this, the puppy flight fee will be split in two....
For Direct flights into Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Vancouver or Toronto - $300-/$350- with the family that will be keeping the puppy crate paying the larger fee.
Flights with one Transfer & the time between flights is 3-6hrs. $300-/$350- as long as I do NOT receive the additional charge for cleaning/overnight kenneling from WestJet.
Flights Requiring use of the Pet Lounge : If the transfer flight is more than 6hrs between flights or if 2 transfers are needed, then WestJet requires that we use their Pet Lounge in either Calgary or Toronto. The fee will be split $475-/$525-. When we have 2 pups that are sharing the flight, I will send both families the other families contact info so that they can be in contact during the day that their puppies are due to arrive at the airport.
Who books the travel arrangements???
I will book all of the travel arrangements with WestJet & will have prepaid for the flight & Pet Lounge service if needed. Once I receive the flight airwaybill info, that will be forwarded to you along with directions to WestJet's cargo office where you will need to go in order to retrieve your puppy. I will also supply you with a link to WestJet's Tracking App. so that you can enter your pup's waybill # the day of it's flight ~ I will text you when I have dropped your pup off at the airport & usually within 5 minutes, the cargo person has entered the waybill # into their system for us to be able to track the pup's travel. The person that is listed on the airwaybill will be the only person that will be able to retrieve the puppy & must present their driver's license to the cargo agent. All flight fees are the responsibility of the puppy purchaser & will be added to your puppy price. If in doubt as to whether or not your pup would be required to use the Pet Lounge, please send me an email along with your location & I will check out our available flight options so that you will know BEFORE speaking for a puppy what you would be looking at for price wise for travel arrangements. All flight fees & remainder owing on the puppy MUST be paid no later than 2 days before pup is to fly out.
IN THE USA:
Please note that NO dogs under the age of 6 months of age may enter the USA due to NEW Rule changes implimented by the USA's CDC.... I currently have a Flight Nanny that will deliver pups into the USA & into Europe. Her fees are in USD funds. If you would like a quote on how much it would cost to have a pup flown into your nearest large airport, please send me an email & I will get one. In order to book her, after you have received the quote, she requires 1/2 down in order to book the flight(s). Once she delivers the puppy to you, the remainder is due, either in cash or by electronic payment- paypal/velmo... I have used her a number of times & she is VERY good! Keeps both the puppy family & the breeder in the loop thru out the entire trip with photos/videos.... let's us know when she is taking off, when she has landed, etc.
We are located approx. 2 1/2 - 3 hrs North of Montana & North Dakota/ Canadian border. All USA citizens can cross into Canada as long as you have your USA passport. You are more than welcome to drive to our Ranch to pick up your puppy, if I have pups that have to fly out of Regina, then I can possibly work it to meet you on the Canadian side of the border north of Plentywood that same day. If you should decide to fly into Saskatchewan to collect your puppy, I can meet you at the Regina Airport with your puppy as well. I will have all of the pup's paperwork in order for a seamless crossing into the USA with your new puppy.
Currently there are NO airlines offering Pet Cargo from Canada into the USA.... hopefully that will open up again.....
****Please keep in mind that our CDN $ is only worth approx. $0.75 to the USA $ so a pup priced at $1000- Cdn would only cost you approx. $750- USD all depending on that day's currency exchange...
VISITS
Due to time constraints & in order to keep our younger puppies healthy, I will ONLY allow families that have placed a deposit on their puppy to visit. PLEASE be diligent in NOT visiting dog parks/SPCA/other kennels or places with high dog traffic before coming out to visit us as we try our best to keep our premises as clean as possible & to not track in foreign diseases. We usually have pups on the premises that have not received all of their booster shots due to not being old enough, therefore are more subject to getting sick if someone were to track in parvo or other types of foreign matter. Once you have placed a deposit on your puppy & if you wish to come out for a visit, please send me an email & I will try to accommodate you.
